Vegas Pictures!
Yuup. You should all look at the pictures of me in the Harry Potter room in FAO Shwartz @ Caeser's Forum. I wish I could have bought the whole room, and put it in my house. :-( Oh well. I can still make my room look like a Gryffindor dorm! *Grins excitedly* I'm such a nerd.
I went to Great Lakes Crossing this morning with my mom, my step-dad and my brother. Zach drove us there, so we had to listen to his crappy music for the rather long drive. At Great Lakes, we ate @ Johnny Rockets. My mom and I ordered Streamliners, which are veggie burgers, but mine made me sick, so I only ate half. Since I was still hungry, I got a Cinnabon in the food court, and it was there that we spotted this woman crying hysterically. Mom said, "I'll bet she lost a kid!"
I don't have any kids, but I just know I'd be scared out of my mind if I lost one of my kids in a mall. So, I walked up to the lady and asked her if she'd lost a kid. She was crying really hard when she told me, "Yes, a little boy who's almost as tall as me (she was really short) and a two-year-old boy that's not even mine!" I wanted to do anything I could to help the poor girl, so I hurried through one side of the mall while the girl who'd lost the kids and a security guard checked the other side. I didn't find the kids anywhere, but I don't know if she did either because on the way out, I asked the person at the information desk, and they didn't know anything about the missing kids.
I'm still really worried. I mean, what if someone kidnapped those kids? The girl had told me that the kids were right there in the play area one minute, and gone the next! Oooh, I just feel sick to my stomach about it. I'm going to watch the news at 6:00 and see if they say anything about the missing kids.
Well, while I was at Great Lakes, I decided to check the book store for that Harry Potter parody book, and I found it, so I bought it! It's called Barry Trotter and the Unauthorized Parody by Michael Gerber. It's so funny, I love it! I also stopped at Afterthoughts and bought 3 pairs of really cute earrings.
Ugh, but I'm so worried about those kids! *Cries*

Cruisin' The Strip
But as much as I miss Vegas, I still am mucho glad to be back in Flint. It's good to have you back, computer, and all my pals who live in the computer. *Hugs monitor*
One thing I don't much like about being home is the fact that the mail informed me of my G.E.D. results. I passed everything, and with flying colors, no less... except for the math. OOOOOOH, I HATE MATH! *Stomps it to death* So now I've got to go back and re-take the math portion of the G.E.D. test on Sept. 20th. But at least I get to start college before that.
I have no idea what my major is going to be! I know for a fact that I either want to be a writer or an actress... but Mott doesn't offer like, any courses that have anything to do with either of those careers! And I have to go to Mott because it's the only community college around here. *Pouts* So I guess I'm going to have to make an appointment with a councilor. *Shrugs* Ah well.
Now, I must go and fulfill my duty as Ruler of the Sims. I shall be in touch. *Salutes*

Goodbye to Vegas & Hello to Michigan Part2
The night of the 12th, I got to feeling really inspired and wrote a lot of my story "Harry Potter--The Bachelor", but I also got to feeling really sick and had horrible cramps. The next morning, I was still super-sick. We went to New York, New York where they used to have this awesome place called the Motown Cafe... but now it's gone all of a sudden! They replaced the Motown Cafe with stupid ESPN Zone! I was really sick, and couldn't even eat. I looked all over New York, New York for some Newsies, but there weren't any. *Pouts*
Later on, we went on this I-MAX 3D Motion Ride at the Excalibur, and that turned out to suck really, really bad. Then we got all dressed up and returned to New York, New York to see this stand-up comedian, Rita Rudner. I didn't think she was all that funny, and I guess I was kind of a jerk to Dad and Zach about it, so they got mad at me, and I was all sick and... that day just wasn't very good.
8-14-02
They tore up most of the good stuff in the Fashion Show Mall! Suddenly, my favorite restaurant, Dive, was no longer there, and neither was Sam Goody, or the good makeup place, or the giant Bath & Body Works! *Cries*
We ate at the Harrah's Buffet for a late lunch, and spent the evening having fun watching the Pirate show at Treasure Island and shopping at the Vinician's mall place.
Then we went to my very favorite place, the Flamingo Hilton, where I plan to one day get married. We checked out the coolest part of the casino, the garden/pool area. There are all these pools that are connected by water-slides, beautiful gardens, live flamingos, and these tiny little penguins. My dad went inside to gamble, but Zach and I stayed outside. The pool was closed at night-time and it wasn't even our hotel, so I thought it'd be fun to try and get into the pool with my clothes on, without getting them wet. Zach took pictures, and I took a pic of him in the lifeguard's chair, but then the security guard caught us. *Hangs head* The Flamingo Hilton's pool area is really big, so we weren't all that sure how to get back into the casino. We just started walking around... and walking around... and soon we had no idea where we were. We saw this 27,000,000 step staircase, and decided to go up it... but that wasn't smart. We ended up on the roof of the freaking casino! It took us forever to find the casino, and we were soooooooooo tired when we did! That day wasn't very good.
Today was spent flying. *Waves* Hello, I'm home now! So... yup! Time to catch up on some diaries! I'll try and post some pictures from the trip on here later. See ya!

*Waves Goodbye to Vegas & Hello to Michigan*
Date: 8-10-02
My feet hurt. My neck hurts. It's ridiculously hot. But the scenery is awesome and I'm having a blast. All this can only mean one thing-- I'm in Las Vegas! I got 2 hours of sleep last night, and then it was off to Bishop Airport. Apparently, I was even more nervous about flying than I usually am because when I stepped onto that plane, my stomach dropped faster than it did on the Power Tower at Cedar Point! I even asked my brother to grab me an extra barf bag. But, thank God, I never puked during the whole 11 minute flight! *Does victory dance*
Then we landed at the Detroit Metro Airport, and I tried to buy some Pepto Bismol at a store that seemingly had everything... but they didn't have that. So I got a bag of Chex Mix and I felt better. Then we boarded the plane and haf a four-hour flight during which I listened to the Newsies soundtrack, Avril Lavigne and sad country songs. I also pulled a muscle between my neck and shoulder. Ow.
After we'd landed, we picked up our rent-a-car, then headed over to the Excalibur for breakfast. When we were done eating, we looked for Harry Potter-type stuff for me to get my picture taken with, then went to the Luxor and played stuff like Skee-Ball, air hockey and Crazy Taxi. There, Zach stood on top of a flight of stairs and dropped a quarter onto my head to get my attention. *Glares* Ow.
Next, we came to the Rivera to check in. Zach and I pretended not to know Dad while he did his crazy-looking back excersises, then went to the California Pizza Kitchen @ the Mirage for dinner. There, we played Hangman and ate pizza & soup. Then we drove the Strip, with Zach up front with his freakin' music.
Date: 8-11-02
Today we woke up @ 9:00 and headed over to Pharo's Pheast (the Luxor Buffet). Those Ancient Egyptian didn't know how to spell. It was good eatin'. After hanging out at the Mirage for a while, we took the moving sidewalk to Caeser's Forum Shops. Now, I've said it before and I'll say it again-- I LOVE CAESER'S FORUM! We went to FAO Shwartz (the giant toy store) and had a lot of fun talking to the crazy employees. Just as we were about to leave, I noticed a dimly lit room and decided to go in.
Well, was I ever glad I did... BECAUSE IT WAS THE HARRY POTTER ROOM! There was a TV playing the Harry Potter movie while the soundsystem played the Harry Potter soundtrack. The books were lined up against every wall. There were ceramic figurines of the characters acting out Sorcerer's Stone scenes, huge stuffed Hagrids, Fred and George action figures... it was the coolest thing I've ever seen! One of the best things there was the talking/moving Fat Lady portrait. She was like, "Password?", "You're not in Gryffindor!" and "What was the point in waking me up?" I would have bought her, but I only had $40 & I wanted to buy my mom a Mirage shirt. After a lot of pondering, I decided on a doll of Hermione who comes with Crookshanks and a lot of other cool stuff. So I got out my $23 and got in line to pay for it when I heard the cashier screech, "Oh my God! You're Marc Anthony!" I looked up and, sure enough, there was Marc Anthony with who, I assumed, were his wife & little girl. I accidentally stepped on his foot, but it was cool to meet him!
Next we went to dinner at the Rio Buffet. That night, Dad went to his conference, so Zach and I hung out in the room and rented Spider-man.
Date: 8-12-02
Um... I kind of got behind in my travel log. But I think this day went kinda like this:
Dad had an early conference, so Zach and I went to the Rivera food court and ate French toast sticks from Burger King. Then we came back to the room and watched this show... In it, there were these cats, bats and a singing cricket. Then this real kid comes on the screen and goes, "Me and my step-dad went to this basketball court and I couldn't get the ball through the hoop. So I tried a soccer ball, and that didn't work either. So my step-dad said 'Let's go,' but I said, 'One more try!' and I got it through the hoop! I was so happy and I started going, 'BEANS AND RICE! RICE AND BEANS! BEANS AND RICE!'" Zach and I looked at each other like "What?" and then started cracking up. That was cool.
Then we drove out to this chocolate factory called Ethel M.'s that we go to every year. You get free chocolate, and if you put a fake mousdache on, you can go back in and get more free chocolate. *Nods* Then we went to the Mirage Buffet and I got my mom's shirt for her.
By night-time, we thought it'd be cool to see the water show @ the Bellagio, so we stood & gawked at the awesomeness of the water rising and falling to "Proud to be An American". Then we walked around town, and Zach kept picking up all this lesbian porn from weirdos on the street, and he was talking like a jerk to me, so I got really mad and, without thinking, ran off. That probably wasn't a good idea because it took Dad and Zach quite a while to find me. But what a perv.

Leaving For Las Vegas
I'm Wearing: A puppy-print nightshirt.
My Hair Is: Down.
I Last Ate: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich w/ soy milk to dunk.
Holly's Song Pick of the Day: "Viva Las Vegas" by... um... *mumbles unintelligably*
________________________________________________________
Yeah, remember that song, "Leaving Las Vegas" by Sheryl Crow? That silly girl left a word out! Of course what she meant to say was "Leaving For Las Vegas". I'm sure. *Nods* Yup, so I'm leaving for Las Vegas on Saturday morning at like, 4 A.M. I have to get up at 2 A.M. on Saturday! AAAAAH! *Passes out*
My dad and I went to Border's today so we could get new books to read on the plane. I would have done fine with my Harry Potter books, of course, but Dad thinks I need to broaden my reading horizons or something. So what book did I get, you ask? Why, J.K. Rowling: the Wizard Behind Harry Potter by Marc Shapiro, of course! You see, the book's not by J.K. Rowling! It's merely about her. Aren't I awesome at "broadening my horizons"? *Grins*
My mom is good friends with her 25-year-old co-worker, and she wanted to try and hook her up with my 20-year-old brother. So Mom, Mike, Zach and I all went to the Pizza Hut Lunch Buffet today to meet Dimitria. I thought she was very nice, funny and a cool person, all-together. Apparently, Zach didn't get the same impression, so he doesn't want to go out with her. *Rolls eyes* That brother of mine... So now Mom has to work with Dimitria every day, and Zach isn't going to call Dimitria, so... it's going to be pretty tense for Mom. *Glares at Zach, who is not even in the house*
Welp, I reckon I'd better get back to downloading songs and burning CDs for my trip to Vegas. Mondie, Sadora, Samantha, Marie, Lyndsay, MariAnn, Ashley, Megan and everyone else, I'll look forward to catching up on your diaries when I get back! *Hugs all of you* See ya!

The Life of a Sim Must be Mucho Exciting
I'm Wearing: P.J.s
My Hair Is: In a ponytail
I Last Ate: Raison Bran w/ soy milk
Holly's Song Pick of the Day: "That's the Way It Is"--LFO

My Sims are livin' large, my friends. Every one of their meals is catered. They have an indoor pool with a large fountain in the middle. They have a hot tub, a DJ booth, a dancing floor and a robot named Servo who does all their work for them. Why, they never have to lift a finger, those lucky Sims. But there is a major downside to being a Sim (besides having your life run for you by a bored 18-year-old). Their pizza costs $40. Wow. It's a good thing I gave them unlimited money, or they'd be broke.
Man, when I was about 10 years old, I became obsessed with One Life to Live, and asked my very talented mom to paint murals of all my favorite characters on the walls of my room. She gladly obliged.
About 3 years later, I decided that a lot of famous guys were hot, and that I needed posters of them all over my room. My mom wallpapered my room with posters of Jonathan Jackson, Devon Sawa and all my favorite boy bands. Every inch of my walls and ceiling were covered with posters of hotties.
Now that I'm 18, I don't want posters or murals on my wall. Well, that presents a bit of a challenge. You see, it turns out that when my mom put up all those posters so many years ago, she stapled them up. Yes, stapled. I've spent the last few days ripping down all of my posters, and slowly taking out the staples with needle-nose plyers. 'Tis not a fun job, but after only 5 zillion and a half more staples, I'll be done! Woo hoo! *Gives a thumbs up*
HEY KIDS, GUESS WHAT? In 3 days, I'm going to VEGAS! Yes, Vegas! I'll be flying there with my brother and father, and we'll be staying at the Tropicana, due to the fact that my dad's business parter dudes and chicks all wish to stay there. Grrrr, we're not staying at the Luxor like usual! *Thows a fit* That's okay, though, 'cause I'm still going to VEGAS! Sooooo, it's time to build more luxiurious palaces for my Sims!

So, I got this terrible sunburn at Cedar Point on Thursday, because I totally forgot to wear any sunscreen, and I have a sun allergy. Well, last night, my eyelids started to swell up really bad. I woke up this morning, and couldn't open my eyes hardly at all!
I have these little slits for eyes now. My dad took me to emergency, and the doctor said I have second degree burns on my face, and that my forehead is burned so bad that it's drooping... right over my eyes. Plus, my eyes are really swoolen. My cat rubbed up against my arm yesterday, and I was like, "Owwwww!" This is a bad sunburn, folks. I'm using aloe vera, this moisturizing stuff, and I'm taking Aspirin.

I just got back from at day at Cedar Point, and I must say, it was pretty swell. Last night, I cried hysterically about the fact that Zach refused to go with us, but now I'm okay... except for the fact that I've got like, 3rd frickin' degree sunburns everywhere! Ow.
Dad and I drove all the way to Yipsilani (uh... however you spell it), listening to Avril Lavigne, Mandy Moore, 'N Sync and my very own burned CD of The Best of Harry Potter Fan Fiction. Yes, I am a nerd. Then we stopped and ate at Bob Evans. Then we drove all the way to good ol' Sandusky, Ohio.
When we got into the park, we headed straight for The Blue Streak, which was a coaster I'd never been on. It was pretty fun, but I've really got to be honest here... I don't much like the feeling of my stomach dropping. It... *shudders* bothers me. I'm kind of a mild-coaster kinda gal, I think.
Next, we headed over to Calypso, which was one of my fun, spinning around-and-around really really fast rides. *Giddily* I love those! So then we went on even more of my kind of rides like The Scrambler and The Matterhorn. My dad gets really sick on my type'a rides, though, so we had to cool it and eat gormet pretzels with smoothies, then we got on the Cedar Downs, the racing horses (tee hee!).
Then we went on the Wild Cat, which is my very favorite roller coaster. I like it because there isn't very much stomach-dropping involded; just speediness, lots of loops and little hills. But while we were waiting in line for that ride, my dad complained that his back was really hurting him, so he propped himself up on the bars with his arms. I tried it too, but it didn't work out so well for me... I pulled a muscle in my shoulder and *OWWWCH*, does it hurt!
After the Wild Cat, Dad and I sat through the Cedar Point show, "Snoopy Rocks On Ice!" I've gotta tell ya... I loved that show! Man, they've got like, Olympic-talented skaters performing! And those people in the big Peanuts costumes must have had a really hard time skating. Oh yes, and Dad slept through that, by the way.
Next, we went on these awesome rides (you know, my spinny kind). There was one called Troika, and the other one was called Chaos. They were both SO... MUCH... FUN! Chaos takes you up on this wheel, turns you sideways, and then the car you're in starts flipping over and over and over, upside down, and it looks like you're going to smash you face on the cement! But it was so cool! That, however, made my dad really sick, so we had to chill for a bit, and watch the poor suckers on the Power Tower.
After I got whip-lash on the bumper cars (an old lady rammed into the front of my car while Dad crashed into the back of my car), we went on the Gemini, which is a favorite coaster of mine. I like the whole blue and red racing theme they've got goin' on... super fun. I am a screamer, though. *Screams at top volume to get point across*.
Then we went on the Mine Ride, which just... sucks. All it does is jerk you around a little bit. Next, we headed over to one of my favorite rides in the whole park, Thunder Canyon, where we got soaked. Thankfully, we brought extra clothes.
Finally, Dad and I went on the Giant Wheel, and I went on Schwabinchen. Then we went to The Hat Rack (or something) and I got this spiffy China-person hat. It's wonderful.
I sure am sunburned... ow. Welp, that's it. Hope ya'll had as good a day as I did!

Good Gravy!
Where has this week gone? Last Saturday, I attended two open houses. This Saturday, I'll attend two more. The next week, I have yet another one to go to. GAH! WHEN WILL THE OPEN HOUSES END?! WHEN? Mmmmmmy goodness! You'd think I was popular or something. Ah well, I'll pack my sunscreen, grin and bear it.
Jonathan Jackson is a really hot, sweet, all-over awesome guy who used to play Lucky on General Hospital. Since fourth grade, I've planned on marrying him. But guess what? HE BETRAYED ME! That's right, he's getting married to his ex-GH-co-star who used to play Hannah! I can't believe it! Well, I guess I'll just have to marry my ol' stand-by crush, Tim. *Grins evilly*. Oh, darn.
I want to go to Cedar Point. Right now. C'mon, somebody go with me! I simply adore that place, what with my favorite ride, The Scrambler, my favorite rollercoaster, Wild Cat and a nifty water ride, Snake River Falls. I don't like the Power Tower, though. *Glares at Power Tower*. It should have rotten mozzerella cheese and horse dung thrown at it. You see, that ride lead me to believe I was going to die. Should I sue it?
Wellllll, I suppose I'll try and find something utterly exciting to do, like play Oregon Trail, or read Harry Potter fan fiction. Later, alligator! Huh huh huh!

Water-Flavored Gatorade
I'm wearing: My red Planet Hollywood: Nashville shirt, jean shorts and the cast.
I last ate: Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with soy milk to dunk for breakfast.
Song that's in my head: "Josie and the Pussycats" by... well, Josie and the Pussycats.
_________________________________________________________
I was watching TV, and this Gatorade commercial came on. They've got some really good flavors, you know? I've always been partial to Lemon Lime, Ice and Freeze. Now I see that they have a "water" flavor. Hmm... wonder what that could taste like.
We were at Pizza Hut the other day, and my grandma said, "I don't think girls know where their waist line is supposed to be anymore. Their pants start well after their belly buttons." Heheh. My grandma's the chick.
Wow, I sure do wish I were on vacation. I mean, it's like 85 degrees right here in Michigan, so it's nice outside and everything, but there's nothing to do in this state! If I were in Florida right now, I'd be at Disney World, riding Splash Mountain to cool off. If I were in Vegas, I'd be cruisin' The Strip. But instead I'm sitting at home on the computer. *Sigh*.
Well, I suppose I'll go, check out Disney.com so it at least sort of seems like I'm on vacation. Bye!

I wish I were in Vegas
For the first 11 years of my life, my family either went to Tawas, MI, where there was a beach, or to Orlando, FL for our vacations. Tawas and Disney World are all well and good, but no matter how much I like the beach and lazer shows about The Little Mermaid, neither of them can compare to the dazzling lights of...
VEGAS! When I was 11 years old, my family switched vacation spots. My dad liked gambling, so we started going to Las Vegas. The first time we went, I was in awe. We stayed at the Luxor, and had brought along my whole extended family (except for the ones who think everything is sinful).
Ever since that first trip, Vegas has been my favorite vacation spot. I've been there (counts) 10 times. We usually stay at the Luxor, but I've also stayed at Harrah's and the Flamingo Hilton. I think my favorite casino is the Vinician, but I dunno... I love 'em all. We'red headed to Vegas this August, but I'm dreading flying there now, 'cause of the whole terrorist thing. But if I want to go, I'm gonna have to fly, because we're going for a business trip of my dad's this year.
Anyway, whenever I'm not in Vegas, I wish I were. That's how much I love that place. Everyone must go there. Okay, later.

Cedar Point
I suggested that we go on the Power Tower first, so I sat between Dad and Sarah on one tower, and Bobby and Zach sat across from us on the other tower. This thing took us up in the air, and Sarah started freaking out because she's pretty scared of heights. She was like, "Oh my God, oh my God, OH... MY... GOD!" Then we reached the very top of the tower, and holy guacamoli, we were high! Then the thing drops us 240 ft. at like, 75 m.p.h.! Geez! You know that song, "Leave Me Breathless?" I think it was written for the Power Tower.
Anyway, I went on a bunch of stuff like the Corkscrew (ouch, my ears!), Snake River Falls (holy crap, I'm soaked!), the Gemini (can we go back and get my head?) and the Wildcat (awesome... simply awesome) but me, Sarah and Zach all wussed out when it came to the Millennium Force. Now I really wish I'd have gone for a lot of reasons. The main reason is that Bobby wouldn't shut up the whole way home about how cool he is for going on it. But Dad said the whole way up the huge hill, Bobby was going, "Jesus, Baby Jesus and Little Jesus!" So that's funny. Zach said he did that on the Power Tower, too.
It turns out that I'm quite stupid. When we were in line for the Scrambler (for the second time), Sarah was like, "Holly, will you go on the Power Tower with me again?" and I was like, "Sure." D'oh! Bad move. We got all the way to the top again, and I thought, "What a sucker I am to go on this *twice*." Then this kid about my age who was sitting next to me looked over and went, "Man, it's gonna suck when we go down." I said, "Yeah, it takes your breath away," and he was said, "Okay, thanks, I'll be prepared." Then the thing drops us and he goes, "SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII-!" and his little brother was like, "FUUUUUUUUUUUUU--!" Heheheh. That was pretty hilarious. Once I caught my breath, I cracked up.
We had an awesome time, and I'm glad I'm not such a wuss anymore! Okay, see ya.

Update on Me
1. I'm not afraid of rollercoasters! In fact, I think they rock the body that rocks the party!
2. I can say, "The cockroaches go in, but they do not exit" in Spanish.
3. If I know I'm going to be stading in a really long line in 95 degree weather, I should bring a Slurpee with me.
4. Swimming is only fun is someone's not trying to drown me.
5. I walk about 5 minutes ahead of my grandparents.
On our last day at Disney World, Zach said his back hurt, so he stayed in the room while Dad and I went to MGM. We went on this tour called The Magic of Disney Animation. They showed us all kinds of interesting stuff, but the part I liked the best was when they showed us a video of these animators that work at Disney. One of the guys said, "My co-worker told me once to put true sincerity into my work. I thought he meant, 'Draw really good.' Since then, I've realized what he really meant. To touch the audience with the story you're trying to tell, you have to feel what your character is feeling. That's what makes the whole thing believeable."
So these people acted out the scenes before they drew them, and that really worked. They actually felt what their characters did. These animators said it's so cool to watch the scenes they draw on the big screen, because it seems like they made magic.
Then our tour guide brought us to this mini-theatre where they showed us clips from Disney movies where it was very evident that the artists put tons of sincerity into their work. They showed us the scene where Bambi's mom got shot, the scene where Belle is crying, talking to the Beast after his fight with Gaston, and the scene where Kerchek is dying, and tells Tarzan to take care of the family. Then a series of scenes where best friends are helping each other out, where family comes through for heros, and where couples live happily ever after.
That was about the coolest thing I've ever done. But then we went to this show, Fantasmic. Mickey had a dream with all the Disney characters out on the lake, reinacting their hero scenes and stuff. It was *really* cool.
Well, as soon as I got home, I had to watch all the Disney movies I missed. So now I have a new obsession... with Tarzan. It's so sweet! The poor kid's parents died, so a gorilla took him in and raised him. Then he felt like he didn't fit in because of the way he looked compared to the animals. His "mom" said the coolest thing. She put his hand to his chest and said, "Forget what you see. What do you feel?" and he said, "My heart!" Then she had him listen to her heart and she said, "See? They're exactly the same." I thought that was really sweet. Oh! And I *love* the scenes with Tarzan and Jane. My favorite one is where Jane's drawing Tarzan and he's all staring at her, but Clayton is like, "No, watch what *I'm* doing!" amd Tarzan puts his head down like he's paying attention to Clayton, but he really keeps watching Jane, and he gets the cutest smile on his face. And I like how they matched the lyrics up with the scne-- "Every gesture... every move that she makes makes me feel like never before... Why do I have this growing need to be beside her?" And she's drawing Tarzan right there, and she looks like she's so into it. It's so cute!
Uh-oh, somebody smack me, I'm getting too giddy for my own good! Ah well. Later!

The Disney World Story
Cool, eh? 'Cause, see, my grandma and grandpa Z. are in Florida right now, so we can visit them, and check out the places the Daria characters went in "The Disney World Story." Z-bear Zach might have to take a week off of school, but oh well. Education is a small price to pay for fun, right?
So, hurray for Disney World!
Now, back to that Daria fan fiction. "The Disney World Story" rules, and you should all check it out at http://geocities.com/dariafanfics/authors_ivg.html. In "The Disney World Story," Daria inherits her ancient great aunt's huge fortune, and Helen makes her take a butt-load of Lawndale students to Disney World with it.

*Tear* I'd have to leave my mommy?
Hmm... I'll bet nobody could believe I would leave for paradise without my mom... actually, I couldn't either. No... no, I couldn't do it.
But if I could, I'd go to stay at the Flamingo Hilton in Las Vegas! They have this really rockin' garden/pool area. It's too cool for description, really. And if there was a hottie around there who was also obsessed with Daria (and he's a vegan, of course), that would be greeeeeeeeeeeeeat.
Mmmkay?

And I... am Grandma Z.'s grandaughter...
I'm nothing like my father
And when the day is done, my momma's still my only fan
All the time, I'm clueless and I'm clumsy
But I've got friends that bug me
And that's who I am

I'm at school! Gaaah!
to go to the computer lab, which rules because I'm grounded
from the computer.
Anyway, I went to Nashville and chilled with Amy Grant! It
was *so* much fun! There were about 100 fans in this
restaurant where Amy Grant and Vince Gill were, and we all
yelled out songs we wanted them to play. In between songs,
people would get up on stage with Amy and Vince, and sing a
song, or say a poem. Some of those fans were really
creepy... they would just burst into tears as soon as they
got on stage. Amy was so adorable because she was five
months pregnant. During the autograph signing at the end,
Amy said, "I don't mean to be rude, but I'm getting sort of
nauseated due to my pregnancy." Everyone went, "Awwww...
so, anyway, SIGN MY AUTOGRAPH, SIGN THIS, SIGN THAT!" They
really didn't feel that bad for my girl, Amy, the jerks.
After we had breakfast with Amy and Vince, we went to an
Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith and Vince Gill concert. Every
time I go to an Amy concert, I have more and more respect
for her. 80% of the money we pay goes to a children's
hospital. Amy said, "I'm sure every parent knows, whether
a child is eight years old, or eighteen years old, they are
just as precious, and need just as much love." My mom
bought me this adorable little stuffed lamb, and that money
went straight to the children's hospital as well, so we
felt really good about going to the concert.
Changing the subject, on Friday, when I got to school, I
was in *such* an awesome mood. I kept hugging everyone,
and by the time lunch time rolled around, I felt really
brave. My friend, Heather and I walked into the art room,
and I just walked straight up to my crush, Sean, and said,
"Hi. I just wanted to tell you that I think you're really,
really hot. A girl could have fantasies about you. Okay,
thanks for your time." I have no idea why I did that.
Heather thinks I'll never, ever have a chance with him now
because of what my first words to him were. See, I really
like him because he's a vegan, and he's all into animal
rights and everything. I've never met a guy that had the
same beliefs as me, and he does! I really want that guy, I
tell you! *Sigh*. Well, I think I've really gotta go
because he's in the hall, and he's about to come in here, I
think. Smooch!

Tee hee! I'm headed for Nashville!
That's right! My mom's boyfriend's not going, so I'm goin'
in his place! We're trying to get me in to the party, and
we're pretty sure I'll be able to do it because Kim Keys,
Amy Grant's manager chick, is so nice. A PARTY WITH AMY
GRANT, MICHAEL W. SMITH & VINCE GILL! WOOOOOOOO
HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Soooooooo thrilled, I tell you,
thrilllleeeeeeeeeeed! HURRAY! I'm going to take millions
and millions of pictures! And then I'm going to scan them
and put them on my web site so that everyone can be
jealous! YAY, YAY! And at the concert, we get floor
seats! When we're at the Amy party, she's going to play
her guitar, just for this group of people! I'm soooooooooo
thrilled!
The only problem is, I've missed about 20 days of school
already, and I'll miss 3 more if I go to this. My dad is
*very* touchy about me missing school. Every time I don't
go, I think his head is going to blow up. And if I'm not
sick, he'll be even madder. Crap. Crap, crap, crap, crap,
crap, crap.
And YAY, YAY, YAY, YAY, YAY, YAY, YAY!

to take her to this Amy Grant concert in Nashville, but
it's not just any concert... SHE WAS GOING TO GET TO HANG
OUT WITH AMY GRANT, MICHAEL W. SMITH & VINCE GILL!!!!!! It
was a freaking party with them! My mom has all but
worshiped Amy since I was 3 years old! Well, all of a
sudden, Ron says...
**HEEEEEEEEEEEE CAN'T GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!**
There's no other way she can get there! Ron was her only
way of going! This would be like, the highlight of my best
friend's (my mom's)life! THIS MAN SUCKS! There is no one
in the world who sucks more than this guy, Ron!
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! What do you think I can do to
make him go? This is so important to her! She cried for
two days straight! She made me and her friend Sally cry,
too! ARRRRRRRRRRGH! This guy is the biggest jerk in
history!
HELP!

What? Huh? (My ears are plugged.) 'S'that?
The phone's probably ringing, and the dog is probably whining to get it, but I can't hear, so I'll just sit here and tell you about what's going on in my utterly fascinating life.
Sarah has been a little freaked out lately. Yesterday, we watched Final Destination together, and she's all, "Oh no! Everything I write about comes true! I've been writing about people dying! It could happen!" I told her never to put me in one of her stories again.
Anyway, what's Sarah said seems to be true for both of us. We're writers. She writes stories about her life, and I write stories about Daria. However, recently, I figured, why not give what Sarah writes about a shot? So, I've been writing a story called "The 1st" about how Sarah and Zach have a baby out of wedlock and get married. Then I get terribly jealous of a girl, and get plastic surgery to look just like her. Then no one can tell us apart, and it's stupid, but it's fun to write. So, my point is, DEAR *GOD*, that had better not come true!
In my other story, "Ideal Identity," which I started writing at the beginning of the summer, my mom found a guy online, and my whole family (including all my friends, somehow), moved to Vegas. Then, in real life, Mom meets this online guy, Mike, and he flies us out to Vegas, where he lives, and starts saying how he wants to marry my mom, and move us out there. Tell me that's not creepy. AH! Sarah and I have got to stop writing, or I'm going to end up all weird and mangled, Zach's going to fall down the stairs and develop amnesia, and 'N Sync is going to come to Sarah's school to saranade her. Well... I guess it wouldn't turn out so bad in Sarah's case... BUT, *I'VE* GOTTA STOP WRITING! I'm sticking to Daria stories...
