Ew, Politics Are Gross

You Are 8% Republican
If you have anything in common with the Republican party, it's by sheer chance.
You're a staunch liberal, and nothing is going to change that!
You Are 72% Democrat
You have a good deal of donkey running through your blood, and you're proud to be liberal.
You don't fit every Democrat stereotype, but you definitely belong in the Democrat party.
Your Vote Score: 33% Republican, 67% Democrat
While you don't always agree with the Democrat party, it's a pretty good match for you.
Do be sure to research each candidate. A liberal Republican or independent candidate might fit you better at times.

I freaking hate politics. My family is mainly republicans. My friends are mainly democrats. I've figured out that I'm a democrat who's mostly liberal but is very mildly conservative (drugs are bad, m'kay?). In the race for governor, I thought I could just go for Jennifer Granholm, since she is a democrat and all. But it turns out that she's the bi-atch who put that mourning dove bill on the ballot, so it's going to be her frickin' fault if Proposal 3 is passed, and I'll be forced to egg her house (with egg substitute, of course). What kind of tree-hugging hippie is this woman, anyway? I thought democrats were supposed to be against killing things! Have I been grossly misinformed, or what? Seriously- what the hell?

I've been doing internet research on both Dick DeVos and Granholm for the past couple of hours, and it's wearing me the crap out. I'm going to have to play mindless online games for the NEXT two hours just to clear my head of all the political boringness. Bo...ring...ness? Boringness, yes. I see no reason to vote for DeVos, and I do agree with some of Granholms policies, but I can't support someone who thinks hunting is okay. I mean, hunting is my #1 gripe! What am I going to do, vote for the green party?

Whatever. Look, I'm not even going to worry about it right now. I'm going to go, watch the Cartoon Network while I hug Christina's stuffed penguin and wish I was a kid again so I didn't have to worry about voting for the right person.

Zach and Tracey's Inevitable Breakup

Time: 2:31 P.M.
I'm wearing: My blue "23" sweatshirt and jeans.
I last ate: A pumpernickel bagel from Big Apple Bagels.
Song that's in my head: "Insatiable" by Darren Hayes.

Well, my brother, Zach is no longer with his girlfriend, Tracey. In other words, she dumped him. Tracey had asked Zach not to look at porn, and she found some of his old magazines, and got mad. She threw the magazines in the snow, then threw them in Zach's face. Her final words to him were, "Have fun wacking off for the rest of your life because you're never going to get a girlfriend!" So... no more Zach & Tracey.

Man, I watched this special on Monica Lewinsky, and it was really good. It made me hate Clinton a lot more than I did before. And I actually didn't used to pay a whole heckofalot of attention to politics, so I didn't even know who Linda Tripp was. I'm glad I do now, so I can call her a BACKSTABBING A-HOLE! Okay, well... talk to you later.

Well, the last Daria movie, "Is It College Yet?" was on last Monday, and it was awesome. Daria graduated and got accepted to her second choice college, which was in Boston, the same town as the art college Jane would be going to. Trent was upset about Jane leaving home, but she assured him that he could visit her in Boston. Daria broke up with Tom, but they're still going to be friends. But dude... check it out. Daria's going to college in Boston... Trent's going to visit Jane in Boston... Daria's an adult now... I'm going to make up my own ending and say Daria and Trent are going to hook up in Boston.

Ever since I first became obsessed with Daria in eighth grade, people have been asking me what I'm going to do when the show ends. They would say, "You're not going to kill yourself when Daria gets cancelled, are you?" *Shakes head*. Those people are just silly. They don't realize I always have a backup obsession. Thank God for Harry Potter! J/K, of course.

I've decided not to return to school after my three-week illness. Instead, I'm going to go to night classes to study the material I'll need to take the GED test. *Shrugs* I feel pretty guilty about all the school time I missed, but honestly, I couldn't help it. I just have too many health problems to get a normal high school education. Between my polycystic ovarian syndrome-induced stomache trouble, my really bad obsessive-compulsive disorder, my horrible restless leg syndrome, and my ridiculously weak immune system, it's impossible for me to get to school very often. Plus, we're moving back to Flint, since Mike's hockey team got stolen from him here in Bay City.

We went to an open house for this really, *REALLY* awesome house that this guy built brand new. Oh man, it's just beautiful... in the loft room, there's a balcony that you can walk out on, and... oh, the whole thing is just gorgeous. And it's only $95,000! But we can't afford that house, so we're going to be stuck with a fairly cool one for $65,000. My step-siblings are going to move in with us, too because Carrie says her mom is acting psycho, and she needs to get out of that house. And Billy doesn't feel right living with his grandma, so that's cool that they're going to live with us. I really like those two. My brother, Zach, should be visiting more often now that we're going to be back in Flint, too, so that's rockin'.

Besides the night classes I'll be taking to study for my GED (Good Enough Diploma, as Chris Rock would say), I'm also going to need to get a job. I'll be 18 on February 28th, which means I'll be off my Dad's GM insurance, so I've gotta work somewhere that'll get me insurance as well as a pay check. I think I'll apply at TCBY, 'cause I'm already there every day. :-)

Alrighty, well, I'm gonna go, listen to Bush's speech. Bush is the man. I think he's pretty hot for an older guy, too... that Laura Bush is a lucky lady. What a dude. Okay, see ya!

What a day for America

Good Lord... I was sitting in American Government today when the principle came over the P.A. and asked the teachers to turn on the TVs, and told us there was a national emergency. I've been completely shaken up ever since, but I can't even imagine what the people in New York must be going through.

A lot of people at school seemed really disrespectful about everything going on is the U.S. today. Some kids were actually saying crap like, "Oh, cool! I wish *I* could blow something up!" While they were acting like idiots, I started tearing up, and everyone was like, "What's wrong with you?" Geez. Stupid kids.

I thought Bush's speech was really great tonight. It's great to know that we have such a good man in office right now, and that he plans to get back at whoever did this to the U.S.A. I can't wait to find out who did this so we can start kicking their arses.

Mom and I just got back from Grandma and Grandpa's house, and from getting gas. The D.J.s on 102.5 were making speeches, and saying prayers, then they played that "Proud to Be an American" song. My mom started crying and I just sang along.

I'm going to give blood in Saginaw tomorrow, and my dad said he's going to give some at work. I hope everyone decides to give their blood, I guess they really need it.

Well... God bless everybody.

AH! Clinton Shook My Hand!

I heard a couple of weeks ago that Bill Clinton would be coming to Flint, MI (my home town here), but I only found out the day before it happened that he was coming to my school!

I go to Mott Middle College (the high school in Mott Community College) and Clinton came here to unvail some new technology that's now available to the disabled. My friends, Molly and Angie and I stood outside, plus I met up with my brother's friend, Tim there, and we waited three hours after school got out to meet Clinton. It was freezing cold, and I didn't know we'd have to go outside to do it, so I didn't wear a coat! I was standing out there in a T-shirt in the freezing cold. Brrrr... I didn't even care about meeting Clinton anymore after half an hour of standing in *that* weather.

Those secret service agents were jerks. They wouldn't let us take our backpacks with us, or anything. I thought my Discman would have been stolen! And dang, Clinton shakes too hard! Ouch! My hand hurt for about an hour... It made me kind of mad that it didn't matter if we wanted to meet Clinton or not, we were just *going* to. My teacher, Mrs. Sperlich took pictures of everyone shaking hands with him, but she said her camera sounded funny after she took 'em, so she doesn't know if they came out! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Anyway, so, that was pretty cool. Except for the freezing cold part...
